Summary

Join our client, a fast-growing technology company in the real estate industry, as a Senior Lease Administrator! This key role involves managing the company's lease portfolio, ensuring operating expenses align with lease terms. You will oversee lease administration functions, including real estate portfolio administration, database management, and audit services. Responsibilities include preparing monthly rent rolls, reconciling operating expenses and taxes, communicating with landlords, and conducting audits. The ideal candidate possesses a college degree, 5-8 years of relevant experience, and in-depth knowledge of US lease practices and Microsoft Office/Google products. This is a 100% remote position offering a competitive unfixed monthly compensation, equipment, and 15 days of vacation time.

Requirements

  • College Degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience, or a combination of experience and education
  • Experience with United States lease practices, terms and conditions, customs and practices
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple information sources
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google products, including Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset

Responsibilities

  • Manage preparation of monthly rent roll in accordance with lease provisions
  • Compare and evaluate operating expense and tax reconciliation statements for company’s lease portfolio
  • Communicate with Landlords regarding lease payments and charges
  • Perform full-scope desktop and annual audits for corporate leases and recommend actions for audit recovery
  • Prepare reports of findings and ensure accurate credits and charges are recorded
  • Act as team lead overseeing the preparation of CAM reconciliations for accuracy and adherence to company standards
  • Create training procedures for operating expense reconciliation and tenant recovery preparation
  • Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of job discipline and related functions
