Senior Legal Counsel

The role requires ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, reporting legal risks, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and responding to inquiries from regulatory authorities. You will also maintain current knowledge of legislative changes and communicate with external third parties. Requirements

• Degree in Law and proven experience (no less than 5 years) in a corporate legal department or a law firm
• Strong background in digital business (websites and apps), privacy matters, intellectual property and commercial and/or software contracting
• Strategic vision
• Excellent ability to analyze and assess processes, spot issues and propose/implement solutions to effectively support business strategies
• Communicate and negotiate with external third parties (partners, providers, lawyers, public bodies, etc..)
• Proactivity and ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision to accomplish business goals and mitigate risks
• Fluent in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support for existing business models (websites and apps) as well as new ones
• Managing legal and compliance matters to ensure the achievement of commercial objectives while minimizing risks
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Reporting legal risks to the Board of Directors
• Prepare and review NDAs, contracts, legal texts as well as other documents to help and support the business growth and expand
• Ensure adequate response to inquiries from regulatory authorities and/or third parties concerning the Company's operation in different market niches
• Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation.s

• Knowledge of international laws and regulations related to corporate matters (e.g USA)
• Knowledge of corporate affairs, procedures and operations
