Join our client as a Senior Manager, Commercial Finance (EMEA) and drive margin analysis, contract value assessments, market investments, and corporate development initiatives. Partner with the regional General Manager and support teams to optimize business performance. Lead financial planning and reporting, providing key inputs for EMEA operations. Support financial planning systems and process integration, collaborating globally on automation and analytics. This strategic role requires alignment of planning inputs, financial metrics, and KPIs to streamline reporting. The position is initially remote in Madrid, transitioning to the office upon renovation completion. Expect approximately 25% travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in Commercial Finance
- Experience with SAP, Adaptive Insights, PowerBI, and Salesforce
- Experience in finance related to manufacturing, logistics, or production environments
- International and public company experience
- US GAAP experience
- Experience with project-based revenue recognition
- M&A background
- Advanced three-statement financial modeling capabilities
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (written, oral, and comprehension)
- Experience with P&L management and cash flow analysis
- Experience with revenue forecasting and margin analytics
Responsibilities
- Partner with commercial and operations teams to optimize revenue and profitability across the region
- Deliver robust analytics to executive-level audiences on financial forecasts and performance
- Prospect, value, and structure transactions and partnerships to increase market share and earnings growth
- Develop sophisticated financial models and analytics to support annual strategic planning processes
- Partner with department leaders to develop bottom-up budgets
- Create three-statement financial models that connect KPIs to actionable drivers for optimizing business performance
- Collaborate with corporate team for consolidation of forecasts
- Develop and implement planning processes to streamline budgeting across operations and sales organizations
- Leverage planning tools and reporting systems to drive disciplined performance to plan
- Work closely with accounting to support close analytics and variance analysis
- Develop team members to increase organizational capabilities and ensure business continuity
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, CFA, CPA, or other relevant post-graduate credentials advantageous
