Summary
Join Thumbtack as a Senior Manager of Corporate FP&A and lead the monthly forecast, annual planning, and long-range planning processes. You will be responsible for preparing and consolidating business performance commentary, collaborating with senior leadership, and presenting to C-suite executives and the board. This role involves scaling financial systems and preparing Thumbtack for a potential IPO. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 5+ years of FP&A experience, and strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- 5+ years of Corporate FP&A experience
- Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills, using key tools within Excel and G-Suite
- Experience in financial analysis and creating narratives on business performance and insightful recommendations for C-suite, Board and other stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the organization
Responsibilities
- Ownership of financial reporting (Board decks, Investor Relations reporting, Month-end Close, Forecasts, Annual Plan and Long Range Plan) including process management, planning, communication and presentation to Senior Leadership
- Strong partnership and cross-functional collaboration with HR, Marketing, Business Finance, Strategic Finance, Analytics and Accounting teams
- Scale and improve current systems (Adaptive) and processes to increase productivity and accuracy of the FP&A team
- Manage frequent cross functional ad hoc projects requiring FP&A input, to support management and business decisions
- Maintain and evolve the financial model to project Balance Sheet and Cash Flow and partner with HR to forecast key compensation expenses such as SBC
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Investment Banking or Management consulting
- Experience working for a consumer tech company, marketplace a plus
- Experience within a public company environment
