Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 12+ years of experience in finance roles, with a strong focus on controlling and financial reporting, preferably in an Employer of Record or related servicing industry
  • Proven track record of managing financial functions across different countries within the APAC region
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly independent and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

  • Oversee monthly and quarterly financial reporting across the APAC region, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial data
  • Prepare detailed financial analysis and reporting for senior management, highlighting performance trends, operational issues and areas for improvement
  • Manage regional forecasting, and variance analysis processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies
  • Implement and enforce financial controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Ensure compliance with all local, regional, and international financial regulations and standards
  • Prepare for and support external audits, including liaising with auditors to provide necessary documentation and insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and provide financial insights that inform decision-making
  • Engage with local finance teams to ensure adherence to financial reporting standards and effective execution of financial processes
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations
  • Lead initiatives related to financial system upgrades and automation projects
