Requirements
- 6–10 years in content, editorial, or communications leadership roles in EdTech —preferably in SaaS & B2B sectors
- Exceptional writing and storytelling ability, with a portfolio that spans strategic narratives and tactical assets
- Proven success driving integrated content strategies that directly support go-to-market goals (e.g. demand generation, product launches, category creation)
- Deep understanding of key distribution channels for content - social media being priority 1
- Experience managing PR or media relations directly or via agency
- Demonstrated experience managing consistently high-output teams
- Deep empathy for educators and understanding of K–12 buying dynamics
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a unified content strategy for all channels (social, web, PR, email, etc), ensuring message consistency and impact
- Own and drive content creation including case studies, emails, blogs, white papers, and more—tailored for K–12 audiences
- Oversee and expand our PR, social media, and thought leadership efforts to amplify our brand and leadership in the space
- Build content calendars, themes, and messaging frameworks that align with the education buying cycle, go-to-market and product priorities
- Manage internal team and external vendors to execute the content calendar and strategy
- Partner with product, wider marketing team, and executive teams to execute from strategy —rolling up your sleeves to write, edit, and optimize
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience producing branded podcast/audio/video series
- Familiarity with SEO/SEM best practices as part of content planning
- Experience building internal content systems (e.g. editorial guidelines, asset repositories)
- Prior work with AI or technical subject matter, translating complexity into accessible language
