Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on digital advertising
• Experience with ad tech, programmatic advertising, and the digital media ecosystem
• Proven track record of leading and scaling data science teams
• Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analytics
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R and SQL
• Strong understanding of privacy-preserving technologies and their application in advertising

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing data science team focused on Mozilla’s growing advertising products and business
• Drive our efforts to utilize data to inform and optimize ad targeting, bidding strategies, and campaign performance
• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Lead the development and deployment of experimentation and measurement frameworks
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to shape and deliver our ads strategy and roadmap
