Requirements

  • 5+ years conducting survey-based research in a product/industry setting
  • Demonstrated competency leading the design and execution of survey-based quantitative research projects as the primary/lead investigator
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging diverse research methodologies, including cross-sectional, longitudinal, and experimental methods
  • Proven experience managing full cycle research studies, from hypothesis development to final reporting
  • Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis, with a strong understanding of inferential statistics
  • Proficiency in R, SAS, STATA, or similar statistical software for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
  • Skilled in tracking timelines, managing deliverables, and ensuring adherence to project goals and milestones
  • Proven track record of managing multiple research projects simultaneously, with strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate research findings, implications, and limitations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams, leveraging diverse perspectives to enhance research outcomes
  • Highly self-driven and intellectually curious, with a strong passion for continuous learning and professional growth

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of a diverse portfolio of research projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
  • Manage the end-to-end research process of the primarily quantitative projects in your portfolio – including hypothesis development, research design, data collection, and reporting
  • Ensure high-quality, valuable conclusions, adherence to research protocols and ethical standards, and accuracy and integrity throughout all stages of the research process
  • Manage multiple research projects simultaneously, tracking timelines, milestones, deliverables and resources, and assist in resolving any issues that may impact progress
  • Perform advanced statistical analysis to extract actionable insights from complex datasets
  • Produce detailed research deliverables that summarize key findings, offering strategic direction to enhance products, programs, and/or organizational impact
  • Present research findings, limitations, implications, and recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Closely collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide research support and leverage insights, to meet organizational and stakeholder needs
  • Maintain high standards of research quality, including accuracy, reliability, and validity
  • Ensure research methodologies and practices comply with industry standards and best practices, continuously seeking improvements and innovations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a research-intensive field such as Psychology, Political Science, Behavioral Economics, or a related discipline
  • Experience conducting qualitative research and performing thematic analysis (e.g., open-ended response data, interviews, focus groups, observational research)
  • Experience conducting research within a political context
  • Experience conducting longitudinal and weighted analysis
