Summary
Join Anaplan's Professional Services team as a Senior Manager, Sales & Solutions Services (EMEA) and drive new business opportunities, enhancing professional services offerings across the EMEA region. Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and the partner ecosystem to understand customer needs, define implementation strategies, and estimate project requirements. Lead services business development, including contract negotiations and strategic partnerships. Collaborate with various teams to drive pipeline creation, opportunity forecasting, and services bookings, influencing ARR growth. Identify and close new and expansion services opportunities, delivering high-quality proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs). Manage contract discussions and develop partner relationships for scalable delivery. Lead sales cycle execution, conduct alignment meetings, define strategic steps to close opportunities, and shape go-to-market strategies. Actively participate in sales cycle stages, assessing technical and business requirements for optimal service alignment. This role requires a proven track record in business development and collaboration, exceeding service sales quotas in complex enterprise environments.
Requirements
- Proven track record of independently driving business development and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding service sales quotas, particularly within large, complex enterprise environments
- Experience working in Agile environments and methodologies
- Excellent client-facing skills, with a strong background in engagement and relationship management
- Experience selling into various business functions across multiple industries and use cases
- Deep understanding of software implementation lifecycles, including solution architecture, requirements gathering, data integration, and process optimisation
- History of leading successful service engagements that deliver measurable business value
Responsibilities
- Lead new and existing customer services business development, including contract negotiations and strategic partnership formation across designated EMEA regions or verticals
- Collaborate with Sales VPs, Customer Success VPs, and Services Leaders to drive pipeline creation, opportunity forecasting, and services bookings
- Influence ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) growth by supporting late-stage pipeline conversion and securing services commitments
- Identify, scope, and close new and expansion services opportunities with precision
- Deliver high-quality proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) for client delivery engagements
- Manage contract discussions with clients and coordinate legal and procurement processes
- Develop and manage partner relationships to ensure scalable, high-quality delivery outcomes
- Lead sales cycle execution to secure services bookings and support broader business growth objectives
- Conduct stage 2 alignment meetings between Sales, Customer Success, and Delivery teams to ensure readiness and delivery alignment
- Define strategic steps to close opportunities while maintaining quality standards in project execution
- Shape joint go-to-market strategies and craft compelling customer-facing materials including tailored demos and collateral
- Clarify deal ownership and partner lead roles based on the services rule of engagement
- Finalize agreements with partners and customers, overseeing legal review and procurement
- Actively participate in mid-to-late sales cycle stages, assessing technical and business requirements for optimal service alignment
