Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Summary

Join Recast Software as a Sr. Manager, Software Engineering in our Netherlands team! Lead the Application Workspace (AW) team, a C# product, partnering with product managers and other engineering teams across the organization. This leadership role requires deep management experience, global management experience, and software development expertise, particularly with distributed B2B SaaS systems and .Net stacks. You will balance feature delivery with technical debt reduction, mentor engineers, and champion engineering best practices. Requirements

• Depth of management experience
• Global management experience
• Software development expertise
• Expertise with distributed B2B SaaS systems
• Expertise across a variety of technologies, with knowledge of a .Net stack
• Cloud and preferably agent/daemon experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the Application Workspace (AW) team
• Partner with AW Product Manager
• Work closely & partner with Finnish Application Manager team
• Partner with Senior engineers and managers across the organization
• Balance feature and technical debt delivery, with a focus on modern and effective technologies
• Ensure that all team members have a partner in their professional development
• Lead code reviews and participate/lead in software design reviews
• Mentor and train software engineers
• Strong proponent of engineering best practices
• Agile practices and more importantly an agile mindset
