Summary

Join GoDaddy as a Senior Manager, Strategic Finance to enhance revenue forecasting processes and ensure a seamless product lifecycle. This remote position involves managing product funnel visibility, resolving bottlenecks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will proactively improve revenue forecasting methodologies, implement process enhancements, and analyze revenue variances. The role requires identifying gaps, solving issues, and improving forecasting accuracy. You will also use automation to improve efficiency and precision. This position is not eligible in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands and is not currently considering candidates in California, Seattle, or NYC.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, revenue operations, or a related field, with a concentration on projects and strong analytical skills in data analysis tools
  • Experience in automation, operational improvement, and reducing manual work, coupled with a self-starter mentality to proactively identify inefficiencies and implement solutions
  • Experience in financial forecasting, revenue recognition (ASC 606 preferred), and variance analysis, with the ability to connect financial, operational, and product data to improve revenue accuracy and forecasting precision
  • Proven ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, product teams, and cross-functional partners, demonstrating big-picture thinking with a strong attention to detail
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and implementing impactful solutions to enhance overall financial and operational performance

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Product Hub funnel visibility, identifying and resolving bottlenecks while collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, Product, and Revenue Operations to align forecasting with product launches, SKU creation, and revenue recognition requirements (ASC 606 preferred)
  • Proactively engage partners for upstream alignment, drive continuous improvement in revenue forecasting methodologies, and implement process enhancements to accelerate launch timelines and increase efficiency
  • Actively own and drive solutions by identifying gaps in the new product funnel, solving issues proactively, and enhancing the revenue forecasting process with partners to improve accuracy and transparency
  • Assist teams in analyzing and explaining variances between revenue actuals and forecasts, identifying trends and providing insights to leadership
  • Use automation and improvements in execution to improve efficiency and precision in revenue forecasting while ensuring upstream alignment and preparation for upcoming revenue impacts
