Summary

Join Wpromote as a Senior Manager of Resource Management and become a key member of the Central Operations team. You will be responsible for providing accurate staffing resources for internal teams, collaborating with various stakeholders to meet staffing and client demands. This role requires managing staffing logistics, ensuring staffing plans are current, initiating external hiring solutions when needed, and driving staffing recommendations. You will also maintain accurate utilization analysis, serve as a liaison with third-party vendors, and manage resource assignments. The position offers the opportunity to develop proprietary resource management systems and improve internal operations. Remote work options are available in most US states.

Requirements

  • Have 3-5 years of experience with sourcing and deploying internal resourcing within an Advertising Agency
  • Have a proven track record of establishing strong relationships with internal teams
  • Have the ability to provide accurate and detailed reporting to the leadership team to maintain the balance of supply and demand
  • Have the ability to improve both internal operations and the business, bringing an eye for general improvements across the organization and a willingness to take on challenges beyond the direct role
  • Have excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and efficiently problem-solve situations
  • Have demonstrated leadership capability and a desire to mentor less experienced members of the operations team or cross-functional teams
  • Have strong time management and project management skills
  • Have strong proficiency in G Suite and advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and managing large data sets
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage staffing logistics for clients, ensuring staffing requests are fulfilled in an efficient and cost-effective manner
  • Ensure staffing plans, roles, and rates stay current based on ever-changing client and internal resourcing needs
  • Initiate external hiring solutions when internal staffing solutions are not possible and gather approvals from Finance and People Operations/Talent Acquisition, including salary ranges, margin and revenue details, and job descriptions
  • Drive staffing recommendations to channel leadership and escalate findings to executives during forecast reviews
  • Maintain accurate utilization analysis and reporting
  • Serve as a liaison between 3rd party talent and resource vendors
  • Manage assignments and extensions of resources based on capacity and demand
  • Review bandwidth and manage resource sharing across Wpromote on an ongoing basis, proactively working to ensure maximum utilization
  • Track and analyze supply and demand data, identify trends or issues, and provide clear and timely recommendations to leadership to resolve those issues
  • Build and maintain internal relationships by understanding Wpromote’s overarching business initiatives and their potential impact on bandwidth
  • Partner with multiple departments (People Operations, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Channel teams, and Client Services) to identify areas for improvement within resource management and develop action plans for process improvement
  • Develop proprietary resource management systems in partnership with Product and Engineering teams
