Requirements

  • 5+ years of retail sales leadership experience with North American omnichannel retail partners such as Best Buy, Target, Walmart, etc
  • Proficiency in developing retail channel account strategies to help achieve market share growth (e.g., partner negotiations, promotional planning, channel marketing, merchandising, training, etc)
  • Strong business and financial acumen (e.g., understand P&L levers, ROI, IRR, and know how to justify the investments we’re making to support and grow our customers)
  • Industry expertise with Retail and Consumer Electronics
  • You have a degree in Business
  • You have strong collaboration and teamwork skills and can work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Data and numbers driven, you have experience with forecasting and P&L management
  • You take initiative, follow-through, and are detail oriented
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, you are comfortable presenting and influencing people and processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow some of North America’s most important retail partners’ businesses, including Best Buy and Target
  • Craft, own and execute comprehensive account plans that span both in-store and online
  • Drive collaboration between partner and ecobee teams to identify and execute on mutual growth opportunities. This includes channel marketing, training/education, finance, and operations
  • Work with your partners to set and achieve quarterly and annual OKRs
  • Host internal and external MBRs/QBRs to drive accountability
  • Your contributions will extend far beyond mere sales figures. You'll shape the narrative of our partnerships, advocating for the voice of the customer internally, and ensuring ecobee remains at the forefront of the connected home space. From developing Joint Business Plans to negotiating trade funds, your analytical prowess and strategic acumen will be instrumental in driving our growth trajectory
