Senior .NET/C# Engineer

Summary

Join Gorilla Logic as a Senior Backend Engineer and be part of an Agile team building and maintaining web and mobile applications for our clients. You will collaborate with fellow developers, mentor junior team members, and work with DevOps and QA to ensure high-quality code delivery. Success in this role requires critical thinking, self-motivation, and strong communication skills. The position requires extensive experience with .NET/C#, ORMs, and SQL databases, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Bonus skills include experience with modern frameworks like Angular or React, cloud development with Azure, and familiarity with serverless architectures.

Requirements

• Proficient English and communications skills required
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of backend development experience with .NET/C# and/or .NET Core
• Development experience with ORM like Entity framework and/or NHibernate
• Experience with modern enterprise patterns like microservices
• Development experience with SQL/MySQL/Cosmos databases
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining a production application

Responsibilities

• Work with an agile team to build, maintain and optimize our client’s applications
• Mentor fellow developers
• Work with DevOps and QA to build a quality focused CI/CD pipeline
• Responsible for code reviews, testing and delivery of high-quality maintainable code
• Work in an Agile environment to define, estimate and work user stories

Preferred Qualifications

• Development experience with a modern framework like Angular, React and/or Vue
• Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
• Cloud development experience with Azure
• Familiarity with modern architectural modalities like serverless, JAMstack, event-based, pub/sub, and data streaming
• Container experience with Docker/Kubernetes
