Senior Network Engineer

Summary

Join Pythian as a Network Engineer and provide 24/7 global network support to clients. You will administer and manage complex networking solutions in enterprise data centers and remote offices. This role requires extensive experience with Cisco networking equipment, security technologies, and troubleshooting. You will collaborate with ISPs, clients, and technical teams. The ideal candidate possesses 5-8 years of experience in multi-vendor network solutions and holds expert-level experience in routing, switching, and security. Requirements

• Have 5 - 8 years experience in implementing and managing multi-vendor network solutions
• Have expert-level experience in Routing, Switching, and Security
• Have prior experience collaborating with global clients from US, Europe, and APAC regions
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage complex networking solutions in enterprise data centers and remote offices across the globe
• Provide 24/7 network support to clients across the globe
• Implement and configure Security devices which consist of Firewalls from different manufacturers (Eg. Cisco ASA/FTD/FMC)
• Have exceptional hands-on expertise in firewall configurations, security policies, and troubleshooting
• Have experience in enterprise network operation in handling escalation and severity cases
• Coordinate with ISP, clients and onsite technical teams for troubleshooting network and security incidents

Preferred Qualifications

• Have experience on any “Software Defined Networking” solution, i.e. Cisco/Viptela/Versa SD-WAN
• Have CCNA or CCNP Certifications
