Summary
Join Velocity Global as a Senior Paid Search Manager and lead the day-to-day management of paid search marketing initiatives. You will develop and execute strategies for dedicated accounts, build positive relationships with clients and vendors, and mentor junior team members. This role requires 6+ years of experience in paid search management, a proven track record of success, and proficiency with bid management tools. You will be responsible for campaign performance, budget tracking, and staying current on industry trends. Requirements
- 6 or more years of experience in paid search management
- Proven track record of managing successful paid search campaigns and achieving performance goals
- Experience with bid management tools and analytics platforms
Responsibilities
- Lead the supervision of paid search programs, including strategic approaches, bid recommendations, execution details, budgets/accounting, and overall goal achievement with minimal supervision
- Develop positive relationships within the search community, vendors, and Directors to ensure optimal service levels and results
- Develop keyword lists using identified brand territory and review industry, proprietary, and agency tools. Build and analyze keyword lists, analyze search volume, and make recommendations
- Write initial drafts of ad creative text ads based on briefing materials, website content, and direction
- Traffic, upload, and QA keywords, utilizing the Bid Management Tool process
- Interface daily with direct search teams, engines, and platforms to ensure continuous performance and diagnostic checks
- Run reports as requested in Bid Management Platform and engine UIs, including tracking reports and invoice reconciliation
- Provide alerts of under or overspend and pacing of the account
- Create Excel pivot tables, formulas, graphs, and charts to monitor, track, and evaluate campaign performance analytics based on KPI targets and baselines
- Complete budget tracking documents and review them with management
- Stay current on industry trends and updates regarding tools and User Interfaces (e.g., AdWords, Bing, Bid Management Platforms, eMarketer, SEMrush, Search Engine Land, AdCenter, AdGooroo, etc.)
- Build or assist in crafting POVs, standard methodologies, and key process documentation
- Define and implement campaign strategy, working closely with other internal departments to develop fully integrated search campaigns
