Senior Payments Specialist

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in reconciliation, preferably in a fintech or financial services environment
• Strong understanding of payment processing, banking operations, and financial instruments
• Strong Excel skills is a must
• At least intermediate English and fluent russian language

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly partner balance reconciliation and participate in period closing (quarterly and yearly) by providing closing period results
• Reconcile balances across different accounts and sources
• Conduct delta cross-checking through departments using multiple instruments to verify data across different sources
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of financial transactions across multiple platforms, including bank accounts, payment gateways, and internal systems
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding issues
• Analyze transaction data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential risks
• Collaborate with treasury, business development, technical support teams to improve reconciliation processes and system integrations
• Develop and implement best practices for reconciliation workflows and controls
• Assist in audits by providing documentation and explanations as required
• Utilize automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reconciliation tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems and payment gateways is a plus
• Previous experience with Tableau and Power BI would be a plus
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Positive about changes and driven to build strong communication within the team
