Summary

As a Payroll Specialist, you will process payroll for multiple entities and states, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to other teams. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or a relative work experience
- 7+ years of experience processing payroll for multiple entities and states
- Strong working knowledge of local regulations and policies related to payroll and HR
- Advanced knowledge of PrismHR
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to different audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Responsibilities
- Process payroll for multiple entities and states, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments
- Process high-touch and major market accounts with accuracy and adhering to Deel SLAs
- Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll-related matters, providing guidance and support to other teams as needed
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing
- Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implement process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Stay informed of relevant local regulatory and policy changes, communicating and establishing key changes across teams
- Work cross-functionally to provide expertise on local payroll and HR matters
- Respond to complex payroll related questions from employees and clients
