Summary

Join Cybereason's Finance team as a Senior Payroll Specialist, managing US-based employee payroll and coordinating with EMEA payroll providers. You will process bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll, reconcile accounts, respond to employee inquiries, collaborate with HR and Finance, and assist with audits. Experience with ADP and Workday systems is required, along with a strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations. The role demands accuracy, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to handle confidential information. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of payroll processing experience in a multi-state U.S. environment
  • Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws, including FLSA, FMLA, and payroll tax regulations and filing
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Strong Excel Skills
  • Ability to consistently meet monthly deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll for multi-state U.S. employees in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports post-processing
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters
  • Assist with audits, both internal and external, related to payroll
  • Monitor and reconcile all state payroll tax accounts to ensure accurate balances and resolve discrepancies quickly
  • Track and ensure compliance with tax requirements in multiple states when employees work remotely or across state lines
  • Stay up to date with changes in payroll laws and best practices
  • Prepare variable payroll data for processing by local payroll providers
  • Perform payroll controls for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and reasonableness of processed payroll calculations
  • Preparing payroll-related documentation, including supporting materials for payroll journal entries
