Summary

Figma is hiring a Senior Payroll Specialist to join their Accounting Team. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing US payroll data in Workday, processing payments, collaborating with teams, and ensuring compliance with US payroll laws. They should have at least 5 years of experience in multi-state payroll processing and posting journal entries.

Requirements

• 5+ years of US full-cycle multi-state payroll processing experience
• Experience posting journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts

Responsibilities

• Maintain, review and validate data for US payroll in Workday
• Review timesheets and attendance records
• Process payments for final paychecks, adjustments and special pay
• Ownership of APAC payroll processing
• Post journal entries related to payroll transactions
• Reconcile payroll accounts and maintain accurate payroll records
• Collaborate with the accounting team to address any discrepancies
• Participate in audits for 401k, Workers Compensation, and general audit
• Create and maintain process documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with APAC payroll, specifically Japan and Singapore
• Experience with payroll implementation
• Experience with Workday and Netsuite
• Experience at a high growth tech company or B2B SaaS company
