Senior PHP developer

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on the Yii. framework
• Proven experience in backend development, including database design, optimization, and RESTful API development
• Solid experience with relational databases (preferably, MySQL) and writing optimized SQL queries
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git
• Good English language skills — both written and spoken
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications and services using PHP, with a focus on the Yii2 framework
• Design and implement efficient and scalable backend systems and APIs
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in development processes
