Senior PHP Engineer in Worldwide

Summary

The job is for a Backend Developer at NordSecurity's NordPass team. The role involves writing code, creating APIs, and contributing to technical decisions. Required qualifications include PHP experience, understanding of OOP principles, SQL knowledge, and familiarity with Git & Jira. Bonus points are given for additional skills.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience working with PHP and its frameworks (Symfony, Slim)
• Understanding of OOP principles & good code design
• Previous experience in building highly scalable systems
• Be acquainted with API design patterns to create a modern API design
• Good (My)SQL knowledge and experience with big data quantities

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for writing clear and well-tested code that delivers real business value
• Be involved in creating APIs that are useful for developers (both internally and externally)
• Together with our core team deliver quality code-based solutions
• Contribute to app technical decisions, architecture, process, etc
• Contribute to technical tasks, feedback forms, and technical interviews

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Docker, RabbitMQ, and Redis
• Knowledge of cryptography
• Knowledge of Golang
• Experience with AWS (SNS/SQS, DynamoDB, EventBridge, ECS, S3, CloudWatch)
