Remote Senior Process Mechanical Estimator

Summary

Join Saylor Consulting Group as a Fully Remote, As Needed Senior Process Mechanical Estimator with Water/Wastewater Experience to work on high profile projects with California water infrastructure agencies. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of estimating experience and prior experience working on California water agency projects is a plus.

Requirements

• B.S. in Engineering and/or Construction Management or related field desired
• 10-15+ years of related experience estimating water/wastewater projects (water/wastewater treatment capital improvement projects, pump stations, dams, pipelines, and so on) with values of $100 Million or more
• Excellent MS Excel skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with fellow estimators, architects, engineers, and owners

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate construction and project cost estimates from conceptual design through project close out
• Excellent take off skills with OST, Bluebeam, Timberline, Revit or similar software
• Proficient with Google suite and MS office
• Construction phase, change order, estimating and negotiation
• Value engineering
