This remote role, based in Atlanta, GA or Austin, TX, requires leading the development and production of high-quality video content for live-action and animation projects. You will be a key client-facing contact, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate brand messaging into compelling video stories. Responsibilities include conceptualization, pre-production, production, post-production, and project management. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, proven storytelling abilities, strong communication skills, and proficiency in video editing software. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Television, Journalism, or a related field -OR- 7+ years of professional video production experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and techniques
  • Proven ability to tell compelling stories through video (both live-action and animation)
  • Proven ability to create budget estimates for video productions
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
  • Experience working with social media platforms and video advertising best practices
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute creative video concepts that align with client strategy and marketing objectives
  • Create production budgets and production plans to support concepts
  • Write scripts, storyboards, and shot lists
  • Develop budgets and timelines effectively
  • Source and select talent (actors, voiceover artists, etc.)
  • Coordinate with production crews (camera operators, editors, sound engineers)
  • Oversee all aspects of video production, ensuring smooth and efficient execution
  • Direct on-set shoots, providing clear and concise instructions to talent and crew
  • Collaborate with editors to ensure the final product meets the highest creative and technical standards
  • Ensure all videos are properly formatted and optimized for various platforms
  • Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and staying within budget
  • Track project progress and communicate updates effectively to stakeholders
  • Assist the sales team in creating budget estimates and concepts for projects
  • Ideate creative concepts and create slides detailing production needs to support concepts
  • Present concepts, budgets, and production solutions to clients
