Summary

Join Contentsquare as a Senior Product Data Analyst and own strategic annual initiatives, leveraging data to uncover actionable insights. You will collaborate with Product Management and Engineering leaders to improve Contentsquare's product, user experience, and retention. As part of the Product Insights team, you will define KPIs, conduct complex analyses, and partner with Product Managers for after-action analyses. You will utilize tools like Heap and Metabase and work with engineers to access new data sources. This role requires experience analyzing clickstream data, data modeling, and strong communication skills. Requirements

  • Experience analyzing clickstream/user behavior data
  • Ability to take a challenging problem or question, identify the most important aspects, find the data needed, and recommend data-driven solutions. You thrive in taking a problem from ambiguity to actionability
  • Experience with data modeling and conducting complex data analysis in SQL/R/Python
  • Ability to convey complex data insights clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong written, verbal and data visualization communication skills
  • Comfortable working in an agile environment and building relationships with Product Managers, Engineers and Designers

Responsibilities

  • Define product KPIs that are leading indicators of customer satisfaction and company financial performance (eg gross retention, expansion, etc). Use these metrics to help set OKRs and monitor customer and product health
  • Conduct complex analyses pulling together data from across the company (product, finance, sales, customer success, etc) to quantify the size and impact of various potential product investment areas to prioritize product roadmap
  • Partner with Product Managers to conduct after-action analyses to understand if product changes had the desired effect, and uncover learnings for further iteration
  • Leverage tools like Heap and Metabase to create reporting and analysis capabilities stakeholders can use independently
  • Work with software and data engineers to gain access to new sources of data to make available for your own analysis and stakeholders’ self-serve capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Heap and/or Contentsquare platform
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS business models
  • Experience building predictive models to forecast customer and business health, including in low data volume environments
