Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join Aleph, an AI-native platform for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), as an experienced Product Designer to shape the future of our platform. You will work closely with leadership, designing delightful user experiences across our web app and productivity suite add-ins (Google Workspace and Microsoft Office). This is a unique opportunity to influence the product and shape our design culture as we expand our AI initiatives. You will own the end-to-end design process for multiple interfaces, define product strategy, establish best practices, and engage with users to understand their needs. Aleph offers a remote-first opportunity across the Americas, focusing on candidates within the Americas to better align with working hours.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience
• You can own design across the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery
• Startup experience, or experience thriving in an unstructured, ambiguous environment
• You have proven experience taking complex ideas and turning them into a simple experience for our users
• Experience with a B2B SaaS product or a data product
• You have an ownership mentality and have past experience owning a product or meaningful feature from end to end
• You seek out responsibility and aren't scared to have accountability
• Even when you don’t know the answer to a problem right away, you trust you will be able to figure it out
• You work effectively in a small and tight-knit team
• You're comfortable with having little support structure, but you've seen what good processes look like and you want to help build them
• You're comfortable and eager to meet customers and develop an empathetic understanding of their problems to ensure we're building the right solutions with a delightful user experience

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design process for our multiple interfaces (web app, Google Workspace and Microsoft Office add-ins) and ensure we deliver a delightful, consistent experience to our users
• Work alongside our CEO, CTO and team to define the product strategy, owning the process to research, ideate, prototype and test designs, always looking to improve on what has been done
• Help establish best practices to lay the foundation for a high-performing design team and its culture
• Engage with users to deeply understand their needs, validate design decisions, and advocate for exceptional user experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing add-ins for Microsoft Office / Google Workspace products
• Experience building and iterating on UI components using frontend technologies (such as React, HTML/CSS, or similar)
