Summary
Join Devtech's design team as a Product Designer! You will contribute to product strategy, conduct user research, and craft user flows and prototypes. This role requires strong UX/UI design expertise, experience leading projects, and proficiency in design tools. Mentorship of junior designers is also a key responsibility. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design
- Proven experience leading design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and client needs
- Experience in building, maintaining, and evolving design systems, with a focus on scalability and consistency
- Advanced knowledge of UX principles and design thinking methodologies
- Expertise in crafting responsive, innovative UI designs
- Proficiency in A/B testing and other usability testing methods, with a solid understanding of how to leverage data to drive design improvements
- Able to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and facilitating their professional growth
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Photoshop
- Strong portfolio or examples of previous work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the product's strategy and vision, aligning design efforts with overarching company goals
- Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to understand and integrate their needs and objectives into the design process
- Conduct and apply comprehensive user research and usability studies
- Utilize insights from tools like Google Analytics to inform design decisions, ensuring designs meet user needs and enhance the user experience
- Craft user flows, wireframes, and prototypes ranging from low to high fidelity, demonstrating a deep understanding of UX principles to solve complex problems
- Execute design projects from concept to completion, incorporating feedback, metrics, and usability findings to refine and iterate designs
- Develop innovative visual designs, screen layouts, navigation systems, interaction models, UI elements
- Utilize UI animation to convey complex concepts clearly to developers and stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional collaboration, working closely with engineering, product management, and other departments to ensure seamless design implementation
- Present design concepts and solutions effectively to both internal teams and external clients, ensuring clarity and alignment
- Foster a culture of testing and iteration, employing A/B testing and leveraging user feedback to refine designs continuously
- Prepare design assets for technical implementation, ensuring they meet development standards and are optimized for different devices and screen sizes
- Develop and maintain design systems, advocating for scalable solutions that enhance design consistency across the product ecosystem
- Mentor junior team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them grow
- Lead workshops and coaching sessions to share knowledge and best practices
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, applying new methodologies and tools to improve design processes and outcomes
