Summary

Join EnergyHub's Product Design team as a Senior Product Designer to contribute to the creation of user experiences for our entire product line. We are seeking a seasoned designer with 7+ years of experience to lead design processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and conduct user research. You will design for both B2B and B2C platforms, across desktop and mobile. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and presentation skills, experience with user research, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional product design experience
  • A strong portfolio that showcases relevant projects for which you were directly responsible, highlights your design sensibilities, and explains your design process
  • Strong consensus-building, persuasion, and presentation skills
  • Proven experience running user research, synthesizing findings, and iterating on the basis of learnings
  • Experience working with broadly defined mandates to prioritize your work and deliver high-quality design within tight deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process for assigned projects through discovery, scoping, ideation, definition, and delivery
  • Work closely and effectively with cross-functional partners in product management, product marketing, brand marketing, and engineering
  • Design high quality user experiences on desktop and mobile, for both enterprise and consumer customers
  • Define and run formative and evaluative user research studies
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comfortable working in a lean, small company environment
  • Experience with data visualization and an ability to integrate quantitative and qualitative data into your work
  • Experience building design libraries in Figma
  • Experience with accessible design or a demonstrated interest in developing baseline skills in accessibility
  • Professional experience with and/or a passion for grid-edge technologies
