Summary

Join ev.energy, a company focused on simplifying, greening, and making electric vehicle charging more affordable, as a Product Designer. You will lead the design process for smart charging programs, enhancing user experience across mobile and web platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and contribute to the design team. This is a fixed-term role (until December 2025) covering maternity leave, offering a competitive salary (up to 100k USD or 138k CAD). The role involves working remotely with a supportive team and offers various benefits. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of product design experience, a strong portfolio, and excellent communication skills. Experience with B2B2C ecosystems and specific tools is preferred.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product design experience
  • A portfolio showcasing impactful product design work, including your end-to-end product design process
  • Proactive, clear communication skills (written and verbal) with experience collaborating in remote teams
  • Confidence aligning design decisions with business strategy to drive growth
  • Confidence conducting user research and making data-informed decisions
  • Passion and curiosity for our users, product, and industry
  • Based in EST

Responsibilities

  • Leading the design process independently from discovery to launch, delivering smart charging solutions
  • Enhancing the user experience of utility programs across mobile and web, improving satisfaction and engagement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product, engineering, program management, and customer support, on design strategies aligned with company goals
  • Contributing to the design team by sharing knowledge and mentoring peers while learning from others

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building 0-1 products and comfort shaping solutions with ambiguity
  • Experience with tools like Mixpanel or Holistics
  • Experience in B2B2C ecosystems, able to navigate complex technical and user experience dependencies
