Summary

Jobber is seeking a Senior Product Designer to shape the financial management experience for service providers and help create new futures for them. The role involves working in tandem with a set group of Engineers and Product Managers, setting a design vision, understanding user problems, ensuring consistent user experiences, mentoring other designers, and contributing to UX strategy.

Requirements

• Established and relevant experience as a designer in a team setting working with web or mobile SaaS products
• Mastery of the tools needed for your craft (Figma, Miro, pencil and paper, etc.) and knowing which tool to use and when
• Understanding of the difference between a good and bad user experience and influencing positive change to the latter
• Expert visual and interaction experience that can be seen in your shared portfolio
• Curiosity to dig into customer pains and come out with beautiful solutions and engaging experiences
• Understanding of the constraints and opportunities of designing for the web and mobile
• Expert in collaboration!

Responsibilities

• Deliver creative solutions across the product ecosystem
• Set a design vision for your team and stakeholders through wireframes, flow diagrams, interface designs, and mockups
• Understand user problems through qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Ensure a consistent, thoughtful, and thorough user experience with all the work released
• Mentor, mold, and provide feedback to other designers at Jobber
• Contribute to, and often lead UX strategy within close partnership with your Product Owner
