Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join LawnStarter as a Senior UX/Product Designer (Growth) and play a key role in shaping customer acquisition and engagement experiences. Collaborate with Growth, Product, and Engineering teams to identify and solve design challenges. Lead UX design for A/B tests, build and maintain design systems, and create prototypes. This high-impact role requires strong design instincts, data-driven decision-making, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills. You will be responsible for the entire design cycle, from discovery to handoff. The position offers a fully remote work environment and comprehensive benefits.

Requirements

• Have proven experience designing tests, using data insights to guide design decisions, and iterating quickly based on measurable results
• Blend user-centered methodologies with an understanding of business objectives, ensuring that every design decision has both a compelling rationale and a measurable impact
• Be a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment
• Excel at partnering with cross-functional teams, balancing stakeholder feedback with user needs, and driving projects to successful completion
• Embrace constraints and thrive on iterative feedback loops—recognizing that perfect is the enemy of good in a growth-focused environment
• 5+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally with a focus on growth, conversion optimization, or e-commerce
• Educational background in Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, or equivalent in-field experience
• Expertise in modern design tools; we use Figma
• Low ego, high ownership approach to working in cross-functional team
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal—able to articulate design decisions and the “why” behind them

Responsibilities

• Lead the UX design for A/B tests, quickly turning hypotheses into testable prototypes, and iterating based on results to drive meaningful improvements in conversion rates
• Partner with product managers, engineers, marketers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive, consistent user journeys that serve both our business objectives and user needs
• Build and maintain design systems that ensure our brand and experience standards remain consistent across the entire customer lifecycle
• Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes to gather feedback, then pivot quickly based on what you learn
• Help craft clear, trustworthy messaging for our landing pages and sign-up flows, ensuring our users feel at ease at every touchpoint
• Be responsible for the entire design cycle of given projects, from discovery to design handoff to engineering
