Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join Metalab, a digital product studio that creates products used by billions worldwide, as a Senior Product Designer. You will be responsible for designing and building products, applying your design thinking and execution skills throughout the product lifecycle, shaping the visual identity of products, and participating in design team reviews. This role requires 5+ years of product design experience at a digital product agency or consultancy, a strong portfolio showcasing UX and visual design skills, solid experience in prototyping and interaction design, and a strong foundation in visual and interaction design principles. You should be fluent in translating stakeholder goals, user research, and complex user flows into intuitive user interfaces, and demonstrate an interest in staying ahead of desktop and mobile best practices, developments, and trends in web, mobile, and iOS design. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to deliver compelling design rationale in both client and internal contexts and be motivated by feedback and the opportunity to improve the work and team collaboration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience at a digital product agency or consultancy
• A portfolio that reflects your strengths in both UX and visual design skills
• Solid experience in prototyping and interaction design
• A strong foundation in visual and interaction design principles
• Fluent in translating stakeholder goals, user research, and complex user flows into intuitive user interfaces
• Demonstrated interest in staying ahead of desktop and mobile best practices, developments, and trends in web, mobile, and iOS design
• Strong ability to deliver compelling design rationale in both client and internal contexts
