Remote Senior Product Designer

Summary

Join our team as a Senior Product Designer and lead design initiatives for our machine learning (ML) products. You will transform complex ML concepts into user-friendly solutions, conduct user research, create high-fidelity prototypes, and establish design systems. Collaboration across departments is crucial to align design efforts with business goals. This role requires at least 4 years of product design experience, a strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX expertise, and proficiency in design tools like Figma and Sketch. Prior experience in tech or ML is highly advantageous. Requirements

• At least 4 years of product design experience, with a focus on designing complex software applications
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates proficiency in UI/UX best practices, design thinking, and the creation of engaging user interfaces and experiences
• Expertise in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD. Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes to effectively communicate design concepts
• Strong cross-functional communication and problem solving skills
• The ability to build in a fast-paced environment under some uncertainty
• A kind and collaborative nature and work style

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive design initiatives for our ML products, establishing a cohesive design language and standards while focusing on crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences
• Conduct in-depth user research and collaborate directly with customers to integrate their insights into our design process, ensuring our ML interfaces are continually refined to meet user needs
• Design end-to-end flows and deliver polished, high fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts, showcasing the potential of our ML technologies to both internal stakeholders and external customers
• Establish and evolve design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency, usability, and scalability across our product suite
• Play a pivotal role in shaping the design direction of our innovative ML products by closely collaborating across departments to ensure design efforts are aligned with strategic business goals and contributing to the overall strategy and decision-making process

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior work in tech or ML spaces
• An interest in contributing to the broader vision and strategy of the product and the company, bringing a design perspective to strategic discussions and decisions
