Summary
Join Sinch as a Senior Product Designer to lead the design process for the Mailgun experience. Requirements
- 6+ years of relevant work experience
- Extensive experience in Figma, including creating and maintaining design system components
- A strong portfolio of work and case studies that demonstrate a clear UX design process with comprehensive problem solving that has optimally met user needs, product requirements, and delivered on business objectives
- Strong proficiency in prototyping, user research, and usability testing to validate and refine design decisions
Responsibilities
- Lead User-Centered Design
- Plan and conduct user research by engaging with users and analyzing usage data to identify opportunities for improvement based on user behavior and interactions
- Ensure all designs are supported by customer and data-driven insights
- Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and fellow Designers to analyze the performance of features, brainstorm, draft, and refine workable design solutions
- Communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring annotated and well-organized design files are handed off to the development team for smooth implementation and final output
- Collaborate openly in a cross-functional, global environment, incorporating feedback from team members and stakeholders across time zones
- Take ownership of projects, working independently to clearly articulate complex ideas and drive them forward with minimal supervision in a technical product environment
- Own the complete design process, from ideation to implementation, ensuring UX solutions align with user needs, product requirements, and business objectives
- Apply expertise of suitable UX/UI patterns, scalability and performance considerations, foundational design principles, industry standards, design trends, and accessibility (A11Y) considerations to create functional, inclusive, and user-centered design solutions
- Present and communicate your design concepts through narrative presentations, screen recordings, user flows, wireframes, mocks, and prototypes in both low- and high-fidelity to effectively convey potential solutions
- Interpret product requirements with minimal guidance, building a deep understanding of complex problems to craft elegant solutions
- Contribute to the development and evolution of a design system, ensuring consistent user experiences across product features by using a shared set of patterns and components
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean design processes, and experience using JIRA and Confluence
- Prior experience working with email or within the CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) space
