Senior Product Designer

Summary

The Senior Product Designer will work closely with the team to refine requirements and design solutions for Wheel's virtual care platform. The role requires at least 5 years of UX and product design experience, healthcare experience is preferred but not required, and start-up experience is required.

Requirements

• No less than 5 years of experience, but ideally at least 7-8 years of UX and product design is a must
• Degree not required, but subsequent work experience in place of degree is required
• Ability to work in a small fast paced team environment a must and ability to work autonomously required
• Experience working with product managers and engineers required
• Having shipped a product you helped design required
• Prior experience using Figma required

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers on the team to refine requirements and design against those requirements
• Define problems and provide analysis
• Conduct research and provide outcomes based on research
• Work with the R&D team on Ideation, concepting, and brainstorming for solutions
• Provide interaction design and prototyping as needed
• Provide visual design expertise
• Help build out usage of modern tools, and design systems for current and future use
• Work effectively with product and engineering partners to achieve product shipping deadlines
• Design within (and of) large, complex systems
• Create design solutions that drive business outcomes through to the finish

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare experience preferred, but start-up experience required
