Remote Senior Product Designer

Summary

The job is for a Senior Product Designer on the Pingboard team at Workleap. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product design
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), and prototyping tools like InVision or Azure
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, user research methodologies, and usability testing
• Excellent UI design skills with knowledge of current design trends and best practices
• Ability to create high-fidelity prototypes and detailed design specifications
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly
• Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex user needs and business goals into intuitive product designs
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to completion for new and existing products
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes and wireframes to communicate design ideas effectively
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines
• Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to enhance our products
• Advocate for user-centered design principles and best practices within the company
