Senior Product Designer - Portfolio Data Experience

Summary

Join Addepar's Design team as a Senior Product Designer and lead all design aspects of projects, collaborating with cross-functional agile teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Elevate Addepar's product experience through interaction design and data visualization, using user research and data to inform design concepts and influence product strategies. Contribute to the Addepar Product Language design system, seek and provide feedback, and mentor other designers. The ideal candidate possesses several years of experience in product, interaction, or UX design, showcasing a strong portfolio and experience in crafting web products for enterprise users. A passion for translating complex use cases into sophisticated designs and excellent collaboration skills are essential. Experience with Figma is required.

Requirements

• Several years of experience working in the field of Product Design, Interaction Design, or UX Design
• A portfolio showcasing solid user-centered design practice and a high degree of design craftsmanship
• Experienced in crafting web products and UI for enterprise users
• Passion in distilling complex use cases and requirements into sophisticated, scalable, optimised design solutions
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• A self-starter and a teammate who enjoys working in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Meticulous, with a keen eye for consistency
• Experience working with Figma, our primary design tool

Responsibilities

• Lead all design aspects of a project from start to finish, collaborating within cross-functional agile teams to deliver an elegant, delightful, and cohesive product experience for our users
• Elevate Addepar’s product experience through outstanding displays of interaction design and data visualisation
• Use user research and data to advise design concepts and influence product prioritisation, strategies, and roadmaps
• Contribute to the expansion, evolution, and adoption of the Addepar Product Language design system
• Seek out and embrace feedback from your peers and collaborators. Provide thoughtful feedback, empower, and mentor other designers on the team to do their best work

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the finance industry is not required, but a huge plus
