Summary

Join CARET's remote-first team as a Product Manager to oversee the development and launch of new products and features for our legal practice management software. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • Successfully worked remotely in a growing organization
  • Minimum of 5+ years of product management experience in or in support of a software development environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with Developers on upcoming enhancements enterprise enhancements and identify any risks or impacts
  • Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth
  • Provide input for the design and construction of test cases and scenarios and validate executed test result
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define components of the product vision and roadmap
  • Own the financial applications for the CARET Legal product
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and opportunities for growth in user adoption
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog, providing input on best use of resources
  • Define and communicate product requirements and stories to the development team
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of product releases
  • Conduct user testing and gather feedback to inform product decisions
  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics to inform product improvements
  • Create and deliver product training and documentation to support sales and customer success teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the legal industry, working with legal professionals, and understanding of the legal business processes
  • Experience with working in a fully agile software development organization
  • Experience in modern finance and accounting processes including general accounting standards, financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury management
  • Experience working with Jira, Microsoft Dev Ops, QAWolf or similar products
  • Experience leading a team in an Agile principled environment and can motivate team members to achieve product goals
