Summary

Join LaunchDarkly as a Product Manager with expertise in data and observability to build and expand new product offerings. You will lead the development and execution of products in the observability and monitoring space, collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role involves defining product vision, strategy, and execution, monitoring industry trends, and acting as the voice of the customer. Success requires a deep understanding of observability, the software delivery lifecycle, and data consumption. You will partner with marketing and other teams to define Go-To-Market plans. The ideal candidate is curious, purpose-driven, customer-centric, and collaborative, with excellent communication and adaptability.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product experience especially with developer tools, data, analytics, observability and monitoring products Alternatively, 5+ years of engineering experience with a strong product mindset and a desire to transition into a product management role
  • Proven track record of successfully bringing products in data or observability spaces to market
  • Strong understanding of data management and data engineering
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly product features
  • Passion for data and a deep understanding of how customers use and interact with data products

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the development and execution of LaunchDarkly’s products in the observability & monitoring space, including maintaining a product roadmap that aligns with company goals and customer requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor products to stay ahead of the curve
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs and pain points are addressed in all product decisions
  • Partner with marketing and cross functional teams including sales, customer success and support teams, to define Go-To-Market plans and strategy for data observability features
