Join Mitratech, a company focused on building products for legal, risk, compliance, and HR functions of Fortune 100 companies. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for translating the product vision into user-centered features, synthesizing insights from various sources, defining milestones, developing product metrics, and working within scrum teams to ensure clear direction and expectations. You will also own and prioritize the team backlog, test new features, and present product features and business cases to stakeholders. This role requires a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years of product management experience in web/app-based B2B products or services, a proven track record of launching products, strong research and analysis skills, expertise in cloud-delivered solutions and Agile methodologies, and proficiency in written and spoken English.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of product management experience in web/app-based B2B products or services
- Proven track record of launching 3β5 releases or 1β2 products end-to-end; experience with HR IT technologies is a plus
- Strong skills in research, analysis, problem-solving, and user-centered discovery
- Expertise in cloud-delivered solutions and Agile methodologies
- Skilled at interfacing across organizational levels, with a focus on setting and managing expectations
- Understand how to drive team (engineering, cross-functional) success in a remote-first & internationally diverse (global time-zones) environment
- Strong proficiency in written and spoken English; the majority of clients are from North America
Responsibilities
- Self-starter who thrives with minimal guidance confidently makes decisions, and learns quickly from setbacks to drive progress
- Articulate and translate the product vision into high-impact, user-centered features that seamlessly integrate UX designs, business requirements, and rules
- Synthesize insights from competitive analysis, customer satisfaction data, industry trends, and analyst reviews to craft a compelling project vision
- Define detailed milestones that drive progress toward achieving the product roadmap
- Develop product metrics and establish methods to measure success, focusing on financial outcomes and user engagement
- Work within the scrum teams on a daily basis to set clear direction and expectations, articulate business requirements, remove roadblocks, and provide subject matter expertise through constant communication and collaboration with the delivery team, designers, and business stakeholders
- Own and prioritize the team backlog, continuously grooming tasks to align with business goals
- Test new product features and work closely with scrum teams to identify and resolve any issues
- Present and demo product features and business cases to customers, prospects, peers, and leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to integrating acquired product lines into a business and developing strategies for them to align (not mandatory)
- Familiar with common development and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and ProductBoard (not mandatory)
