Join Shakepay, a company revolutionizing financial services in Canada, as a Staff Product Manager. Reporting to the CEO, you will own the product strategy for the core consumer product. Collaborate with engineering, design, data, marketing, and leadership to execute high-impact initiatives. Your work will directly influence how Canadians use Shakepay. You will influence product vision and strategy, collaborate with teams to build customer-loved products, and use data to drive decisions. You will own product development from conception to launch and scale-up, and communicate product strategy to stakeholders. This role requires 8+ years of product management experience in mobile-first technology companies, ideally in fintech or consumer marketplaces.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a product manager in mobile-first technology companies, ideally in fintech or consumer marketplaces
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills—you inspire teams and influence stakeholders
- A data-driven approach to decision-making, with experience setting, measuring, and improving product success metrics
- Multiple 0-1 product launches that you’ve managed from conception to launch and scaled
- A track record of shipping products that have delivered meaningful results
- Comfortable operating autonomously, making decisions with imperfect data, and ruthlessly prioritizing
- Deep curiosity about bitcoin, financial services, and the future of money
- You’re relentlessly resourceful and thrive in fast-moving environments
Responsibilities
- Influence the vision, strategy, and execution for both new and existing products
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to build products our customers love
- Work closely with data and research to uncover deep insights into user behavior and identify high-leverage opportunities
- Own product development end-to-end, from conception to launch to scale-up
- Communicate product vision and strategy to stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Define, track, and analyze the impacts of product changes, ensuring that key business metrics are achieved
- Regularly communicate product strategy and progress with executive leadership and the broader team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving product growth by identifying and executing strategies to improve key metrics like user acquisition, retention, and engagement
- Experience with data-driven experimentation and optimization
