Requirements

  • BA/BS in a relevant field
  • 6+ years of healthcare marketing experience, with 4+ years in a brand or patient marketing role (pharmaceutical/biotech preferred)
  • Proven success in agency/vendor management and project management
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of patient engagement strategies and the regulatory environment for pharmaceutical marketing
  • Local presence in the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area for periodic in-person collaboration, training, and important team meetings

Responsibilities

  • Support annual marketing plans, including brand strategy, positioning, messaging, and tactics
  • Lead patient-focused marketing activities, including materials (e.g., starter kits, direct mail, webcasts) and advocacy partnerships (e.g., COPDF, ALA)
  • Oversee promotional material review processes to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and medical standards
  • Partner with digital marketing and analytics teams to optimize the performance of patient marketing initiatives
  • Engage and manage agency partners to deliver creative, on-budget, and on-time marketing assets
  • Track and analyze KPIs and ROI for patient marketing initiatives, leveraging insights to refine strategies
  • Maintain expertise in the disease state, product landscape, and competitive environment
