Requirements
- Experience in managing financial and payment products, mainly related to Real Time and Instant Payments, understanding the mechanisms established in transactions from a technical and financial perspective
- Understanding the financial flow of Real Time and Instant Payments transactions, including the cash-in and cash-out process, considering different paths of financial movement, as well as mechanism such as settlement and reconciliation
- Strategic thinking, recommending and leading the perspectives of product and platform evolution, based on benchmarking, insights and feedback to structure the evolution of services, aiming to grow the client base and profitability
- Knowledge and experience in specific markets, mainly B2B financial services and banking, understanding the dynamics of operations and financials of banking business in the market and the services usually provided in this context
- Hands-on product management with excellence in activities involving ceremonies and product documentation, related to specification, story writing process and documentation to support internal and external clients
- Experience monitoring regulatory aspects and market rules that are established in these key markets, understanding possible needs for adjustments to services and prioritizing demands according to appropriate criteria
- Proficiency in product management, with consolidated experience in discovery and solution delivery processes in complex and scalable contexts
- Experience in managing financial technology products, mainly considering microservices, involving APIs and modular services in Cloud Computing Environment
- Experience in managing platform products, focused on back-end and focusing on integrations with internal and external systems
- Understanding of solution architecture approaches in a technology environment, mainly considering multiple domains and integrations
- Experience with project management and use of tools such as JIRA and Confluence
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the product strategy for Instant Payments in Australia, leading the mapping and integrations for the evolution of the Pismo platform to support multiple use cases in the region, mainly those focused on NPP and other related payment systems, domestically and internationally
- Support the development of the expansion strategy for countries and regions that are part of our global expansion plan
- Support Pismo teams and the partnership team in finding the most suitable partners and providers for the products to be enabled, ensuring efficient integrations with payment and financial services providers
- Ensure evolution of products and features, supporting current and new clients, as well as monitoring industry standards, market trends and tech innovations. Mapping needs, insights and feedback from our clients, prospects and market
- As Product Manager, together with other Instant Payments Product Managers, support the squad's product vision, developing the product roadmap, aiming the delivery of value to clients (current and future) and to Pismo Strategy
- Evaluate and discuss, together with engineering and business areas, potential approaches for implementing the product roadmap: build, partner, buy
- Structuring and improving product solutions throughout their entire life cycle, from their conception to the evolution of the service, from a technical and business perspective
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, together with other Instant Payments Product Managers, using appropriate criteria for recommendations and decisions about priorities and team allocation in developments
- Work together with engineering, discussing products and prioritization, based on agile methods to deliver value in a continuous and increasing way
- Cooperate and work together with other teams to develop βcross squadβ solutions with dependencies and greater scale
- Ensure product scalability, including non-functional aspects such as: integrity, resilience and scalability; together with the engineering team
