Requirements
- 5+ years of product management experience in healthcare IT, biotech, or software, with bonus points for experience in oncology genetics testing
- Proven ability to conceptualize, define, and deliver best-in-class software experiences
- Expertise with Agile methodologies and experience managing full lifecycle software projects
- Demonstrated cross-functional leadership with excellent communication skills
- BA/BS in a relevant technical, scientific, or quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead the product strategy and roadmap for your assigned product line
- Collaborate with R&D, clinical, design, and engineering teams to craft software solutions
- Translate market, business, and clinical needs into executable product requirements
- Prioritize a feature backlog to align with strategic objectives
- Be the subject matter expert on software products, ensuring cross-functional teams understand and align with product goals
- Create deliverables like flow diagrams, prototypes, and wireframes to clarify concepts
- Define and measure success metrics for each product and release
- Stay current with industry trends to ensure Natera's software solutions are best-in-class
- Evangelize software products across Natera to maximize impact
- Owning and expanding the Altera CGP software roadmap with new innovations
- Collaborating with teams to develop software that supports our genomic testing services
- Guiding software development through prioritization, detailed use cases, and stakeholder alignment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in scalable business rule applications, enterprise software, or business-critical systems is a plus
- Strong customer research skills: asking insightful questions, listening carefully, and translating findings into actionable needs
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional systems thinking and an ability to understand technical complexities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences
- Experience in breaking down large projects into manageable milestones
