Senior Product Manager, Oncology Software

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in healthcare IT, biotech, or software, with bonus points for experience in oncology genetics testing
• Proven ability to conceptualize, define, and deliver best-in-class software experiences
• Expertise with Agile methodologies and experience managing full lifecycle software projects
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership with excellent communication skills
• BA/BS in a relevant technical, scientific, or quantitative discipline (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

• Lead the product strategy and roadmap for your assigned product line
• Collaborate with R&D, clinical, design, and engineering teams to craft software solutions
• Translate market, business, and clinical needs into executable product requirements
• Prioritize a feature backlog to align with strategic objectives
• Be the subject matter expert on software products, ensuring cross-functional teams understand and align with product goals
• Create deliverables like flow diagrams, prototypes, and wireframes to clarify concepts
• Define and measure success metrics for each product and release
• Stay current with industry trends to ensure Natera's software solutions are best-in-class
• Evangelize software products across Natera to maximize impact
• Owning and expanding the Altera CGP software roadmap with new innovations
• Collaborating with teams to develop software that supports our genomic testing services
• Guiding software development through prioritization, detailed use cases, and stakeholder alignment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in scalable business rule applications, enterprise software, or business-critical systems is a plus
• Strong customer research skills: asking insightful questions, listening carefully, and translating findings into actionable needs
• Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Exceptional systems thinking and an ability to understand technical complexities
