Senior Product Manager, Billing

Summary

Join Natera's Software Product team as a Senior Product Manager, Billing, and focus on creating scalable billing products for patients and providers. You will work with product and billing teams and senior leadership to develop and implement a product roadmap, analyze billing processes, and establish success metrics. The role requires driving efficiencies through innovation and collaborating with engineering teams. You will communicate product plans to senior stakeholders and possess strong analytical, operational excellence, and project management skills. The ideal candidate has 4-6 years of product management experience, including 2+ years in healthcare billing. Remote work in the USA is offered.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in product management focusing on complex operational/business process related projects or equivalent experience at a hyper growth company
• 2+ years experience of billing experience within the healthcare industry
• Exceptional analytical skills, operational excellence DNA, obsessed with finding ways to make processes more efficient through software solutions
• Proven ability to learn how processes work quickly, ask the right questions, and come up with a cohesive plan for how to improve/automate them
• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, relationship-building
• Exceptional project management skills with the ability to define, plan, and lead projects forward
• Product management experience - required

Responsibilities

• Work with the product and billing teams and senior leadership to craft and drive a billing product roadmap
• Map out and analyze billing processes and systems, become the SME in this domain and develop products to meet the needs of our patients, providers, and internal billing teams
• Establish and measure success criteria and metrics
• Drive efficiencies through product innovation and work with different engineering teams to implement new solutions that can scale
• Communicate with senior-level stakeholders to champion your efforts and gain buy-in for product plans

Preferred Qualifications

• SQL experience - strongly preferred
• Healthcare billing experience - a plus
• RCM prior auth experience - strongly preferred
• Experience with product analytics platforms and tools such as Power BI, Snowflake, Qlik Sense or similar - a plus
• Experience in operational roles - a plus
• ���Hands-on”, likes to dive deep and solve problems, detail-oriented
• Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize appropriately
• Energy, enthusiasm, and sense of urgency
• Results-oriented with a willingness to take calculated risks and provide constructive feedback
