Summary

Join Datavant as a Product Manager, Routing, and lead the product strategy and execution for The Routing team. You will build a sophisticated engine to power the exchange of healthcare data, setting the vision for success and driving execution. This role requires a customer-centric approach, strong decision-making skills, and the ability to lead and motivate teams. You will work closely with various teams across the organization to ensure product adoption. Datavant is a distributed, remote-first team, offering a flexible work environment. The role requires 5+ years of experience in product management within a B2B health tech or healthcare company.

Requirements

  • Have 5+ years in a product management, product strategy or a similar role ideally at a B2B health tech or health care company
  • Be thoughtful about your work, knowing when to zoom in on details and zoom out on the bigger picture
  • Be highly organized and be able to keep track of multiple threads easily
  • Have high bandwidth and high productivity
  • Write exceptional documents, presentations, diagrams, and mockups
  • Be a great communicator and have the confidence to lead planning meetings with anyone or any group within the company

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision for your product by outlining the customer need, how we solve the problem, and how this will evolve in 3 months, 1 year, and 5 years from now
  • Be customer-centric by obsessing about solving the customer’s problem. You engage with customers and customer-facing teams on a daily basis and see shipping features as just one tool in your toolkit
  • Be decisive by identifying current and future areas of ambiguity and providing direction along with reasoning and analysis
  • Drive execution by writing great product documentation, including a recurring roadmap and business cases, that provide clarity and motivation for what we need to build
  • Drive adoption by working closely across an organization. You add value to this process by removing objections and roadblocks; you get value from this process by getting a firsthand view of how the product is received
  • Be a leader through example and attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience tackling data interoperability or integration initiatives, e.g. using APIs, FHIR standards, HIEs, and/or EHR connectivity platforms
  • Be located in the Eastern Time Zone
