Join NBCUniversal's Enterprise Product Consumer Data team as a Sr. Product Owner! Drive the execution, maintenance, and enhancement of key features related to Applications and Customer Data Platforms (CDP). You will define long-term product strategies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and prioritize the product backlog. This role requires strong data management expertise, excellent communication skills, and proven experience in managing data-related products. As a senior team member, you will lead initiatives in a data-driven environment and play a pivotal role in shaping our products and services. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Technical Product Management, or equivalent experience required
- 8+ years of product management experience, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing data-related products
- Strong understanding of data management principles, data warehouses, and data integration techniques
- Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets and drawing actionable insights to inform product strategy and decision-making
- Proven ability to work effectively with engineering, data science, marketing, and other teams to deliver high-impact products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience managing product development cycles, setting priorities, and meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced visualization skills with the ability to tell a compelling story with data
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proven ability to manage and deliver complex, multi-variable projects successfully
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges and drive actionable solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships with management, cross-functional peers, and external partners
Responsibilities
- Drive the execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals
- Define and deliver long-term product strategies for Applications and CDP to optimize performance and usability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, engineering, analytics, and leadership, to execute product initiatives effectively
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of high-impact features
- Write and manage comprehensive requirements for engineering teams that align with strategic product objectives
- Actively monitor product performance using metrics and user feedback to identify improvement areas and implement solutions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for maintaining and enhancing existing applications and features
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between product direction and business objectives
- Collaborate with vendors to understand the latest product features and emerging trends, ensuring optimal application of new capabilities
- Partner with data governance teams to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and internal policies for data onboarding, access, and usage
- Lead efforts to obtain business and legal approvals for data-related initiatives
- Act as a thought leader, driving innovation within the product management function
- Additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of digital advertising, marketing technology stacks, and related ecosystems

- Salary range: $130,000 - $165,000 (bonus eligible)
