Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (education, computer science, program management, or equivalent)
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, with a proven ability to create, execute on and follow plans to execute on multiple work streams and projects, preferably in education, nonprofit, or technology sectors
  • Superior Communication Skills: Shown ability to distill complex information into concise, engaging communications that empower and inspire communities in creative ways
  • Focused attention to detail: History of roles focusing on important details to ensure follow through
  • Consistent track record in scaling youth programs, delivering measurable outcomes, and developing partnerships
  • Data-driven approach with the ability to analyze metrics, evaluate programs and adjust strategies
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Be located in the United States
  • Pass a pre-employment background check
  • Be willing to travel a minimum of two times per year for team events

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the CS Ambassador Program, including
  • Develop and maintain program materials, training modules, and communications for ambassadors, teacher sponsors, and partners
  • Coordinate the recruitment, onboarding, and training of CS Ambassadors, ensuring a diverse and passionate group of leaders
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ambassadors to drive success and engagement in their outreach efforts
  • Partnership Development: Build and cultivate district, community and industry partners to expand the reach and impact of the CS Ambassador Program
  • Program Growth: Design and implement strategies to scale the CS Ambassador Program year over year, with a focus on increasing impact and reach
  • Define and track key performance indicators related to program success, including increases in CS course enrollment for young women as a result of program activities
  • Implement tools and processes to measure the effectiveness of ambassador outreach efforts, partnerships, and program interventions
  • Regularly report on program outcomes and use data-driven insights to refine and optimize the program
  • Represent the CS Ambassador Program at conferences, events, and other speaking engagements to promote its mission and achievements
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g.,Programs, Marketing, Development) to amplify the programโ€™s impact and Code.orgโ€™s mission and goals

  • Digital Literacy: Proven track record of using tools and technology as a force multiplier for the work, and bring a willingness to experiment and integrate new tools to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Travel Willingness: Openness to travel, with the ability to travel up to 25% of the time, representing the CS Ambassador Program at conferences, events, and other speaking engagements to promote its mission and achievements
