Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for managing Professional Services projects in Data Services practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly within data projects, and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; PMP certification preferred
• Proven experience managing complex data projects within a Professional Services or consulting environment
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies, with hands-on experience using agile project management tools and techniques
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage PS engagements for Data Services practice from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and expectations
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk management strategies
• Utilize agile methodologies to implement detailed task tracking, manage priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements
• Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, developers, and stakeholders, to drive project execution and deliverables
• Monitor and report RAG status for scope, schedule, budget, and risks/issues, providing timely updates to stakeholders and senior management
• Proactively identify project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and updates
• Conduct regular project reviews and retrospectives to assess performance, identify lessons learned, and drive process improvements
• Mentor and coach junior project management staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data management, analytics, and business intelligence technologies is highly desirable
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data-related tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau) is a plus
