Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience building an automation framework from the ground up
  • Ability to demonstrate experience with the following: Selenium, SQL, Cucumber, Junit, Capybara, Postgres
  • Experience with the concepts of cloud hosting on Amazon AWS including AWS EC2 instances, S3 storage management, Elastic Beanstalk, etc
  • Understanding of contemporary API and architectural concepts (REST, Microservices, etc.)
  • Experience with Git (Github and BitBucket), Jira and Confluence
  • Experience working in an Agile or Lean Software Development such as Kanban, Scrum and Test-Driven Development
  • Knowledge of Java, Python, or other programming languages
  • Strong root-cause analysis skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Ability to thrive in startup environment with heavy workload, competing priorities, and less structure than more established company

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop test strategy for the lending platform
  • Design and implement automated testing framework to support full end to end automation of regression test plans
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and develop test plans
  • Participate in Agile activities including sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives
  • Understanding and experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment process
  • Work closely with development team in building automation for continuous integration and deployment
  • Investigate and recreate reported defects
  • Track and document all testing defects and resolutions
  • Participate in the design and development for test automation and support
  • Stay up to date with tools, trends, and technologies in the FinTech space

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience or training as a scrum master is preferred
